They got out!

Part of the photo dump Kaitlyn did today shows that they were able to escape some today! I am so thrilled for her. I cannot imagine not being able to just go like we do here. The Covid restrictions they have in place right now in Connecticut are that they pretty much stay in their apartment all the time. So these photos make me happy to see she is getting out and seeing some of the area she is in.

I love the look of the sidewalk! It is crazy to see how empty they are though. No people anywhere!

Overall it looks like it was a little chilly but they are happy to have escaped a little from the apartment and what I imagine makes you a tad stir crazy. At the end of their night it looks like they had some unanswered calls...

I guess at least they can find humor in it all.

Good morning Brothers and Sisters. I am excited to be here with you this morning. Not because I up here speaking but because we are here to listen to Kaitlyn report on her mission which means she is actually home! Thank you all for being here and for the support you have shown her throughout her time away. Week 1 Email: I have a new Mom

Well now it's Sister Garcia ;) I'm officially a missionary, which is so crazy to think about! During the online MTC my Pdays are Saturdays so you can expect an update from me every Saturday for the next 6 weeks. The CTM has been amazing so far! :) If I'm being honest I was super nervous to start and I didn't really know what to expect from it, but I'm so glad I've been able to do my training at home. My schedule that I was sent was all in Brazil time and it said that most of my classes were to start at 8:30am. I don't know if any of you know this, but Brazil is 4 hours ahead of Utah, you can do that math, it was supposed to be early! Luckily it's been changed and now my classes don't start until 9:30am Utah time. They like to keep us busy that's for sure! I already have to memorize and learn cer...
