Subject: The One With The Mavromatis'

Oi gente!!
I can't believe that it's already Monday again?! I feel like I was just typing one of these up let's be real haha! We had so many fun things happen this week but the big one is President and Sister Mavromatis have finished their service here in the MBM. We're set to get a new mission president here in the next couple days :) This weeks highlights are a bit longer so I'll just get right into it!

- Sister Parrish and I braved Gillette Stadium, it was pretty rad but we didn't get to do much, but hey it was a Monday after all, no big games to see ;)
- Quick little shoutout to Elder Garcia who started the MTC this week! Don't get me wrong, I loved the CTM but I love the field wayyyy more ;) you'll get there one day!
- We snuck into transfers this week! Sister Parrish and I are staying together but we went to see everyone haha! It was so crazy to see everyone honestly. My trainer, Sister Womack is going home! Super sad to see her leave but I'm glad I got to see her one last time
- We had ANOTHER in person lesson with our amazing friend Any and she gave us some killer banana bread :) Yours still might be better mom ;)
- We had Zone Conference! And it was a real, legit, full day event! I've never been to one like that due to COVID but with things opening up, we totally did :) It was everything I needed and more. President and Sister Mavromatis will be greatly missed not only by the MBM, but by me. I just loved it :)
- Sister Parrish and I spent a whole afternoon up on the roof doing some work and got a little Vitamin D action obviously! Gotta work on that summer tan somehow!
- We had a (in person!) lesson with our friend, Helmer! He's super rad and is so ready for the gospel and I can't wait to see how he'll progress :)
- We had a miracle with our friend, Lerica! She's amazing and is so open to our message. I know that this really us the Lord's work and He likes to work in His time

Spiritual Thought
President Mavromatis really went all out with his remarks for Zone Conference is all I have to say! We talked about SO many things but one thing I loved was this concept of waking up every single day with faith and hope. You wake up with the faith that the Lord will be with you always and you hope for the best that day. Some days it's easier said than done, I bet most days that's the case haha! But why would we not wake up like that?! It's so simple and it sets your day with the right state of mind if you ask me :) Often times faith and hope are linked, in Alma 32:21 it says, "And now as I said concerning faith—faith is not to have a perfect knowledge of things; therefore if ye have faith ye hope for things which are not seen, which are true." So my challenge for you guys this week is to wake up with hope! Wake up with a grateful heart and take your day head on! I promise you'll be able to see the Lord working in your life :)

This one was a little bit longer so if you made it, PARABENS haha! I can't thank you all enough for your constant support and emails/letters. They truly make my day! Feel free to write me or email me too, I'll try my best to get back to you. Let me know if there's anything I can do for you this week :) Vocês são incríveis!
Amo vocês!

Braços,

Sister Garcia
