Covid to Fly

Sister Garcia is required to take a Covid Test in order to prove a negative result to be able to fly to Brazil on Thursday afternoon. Sister Ellsworth, the mission nurse, instructed her to take that test on Monday evening, the 20th. When Sister Garcia called me to tell me she was on her way I was all sorts of anxious for her arrival to the FedEx location she was headed to.

Sister Garcia and Sister Soares had a meeting with a friend that evening that was scheduled to end at 7:15pm. The FedEx location closed at 7:45pm...that is cutting it so close in my own opinion but Sister Garcia did not seem phased at all by it. Anyways, as they pulled into the FedEx (at 7:50pm by the way) Sister Garcia ran into the facility and explained why she was there. Thankfully the employee was fine for her to take the test and then get it shipped off for her.

I am hopeful that the window that they wanted it in will still all work out and that her results come in as negative. She is so ready to fly and get to those waiting for her there. Now we wait for the email to come in so she can get her results printed and ready to go.

Covid is lame,
