Dallas to Salt Lake: Wednesday, July 6, 2022

As if waiting wasn't taking long enough...your flight from Dallas to Salt Lake has now been delayed! Ugh! Ha ha ha...

You sent me a message on Messenger letting me know the status and you also assured me that you would keep me posted on when you boarded a plane. Guess what? YOU DIDN'T!! You total punk!  Thankfully I was tracking your flight progress and was able to see when it took off so that gave me the green light to load up and get going to the airport on time.

I will tell you that as we stood at the airport and as people came out of the 'secured area' I found myself asking them which flight they had come in on because it felt like it was taking forever for you to finally show your face! I imagine I was the crazy lady people talked about after they got to their own families or cars and I don't even care. 

I was so happy to see that your flight landed. It was the sheer anticipation of waiting for you to get off the plane, walk the million mile walk that Salt Lake Airport allows you to make, and then come out of the secured zone but it was the best 'end result' ever! 

Finally! You are on Utah soil and in our arms and car! I love you,

Good morning Brothers and Sisters. I am excited to be here with you this morning. Not because I up here speaking but because we are here to listen to Kaitlyn report on her mission which means she is actually home! Thank you all for being here and for the support you have shown her throughout her time away. Week 1 Email: I have a new Mom

Well now it's Sister Garcia ;) I'm officially a missionary, which is so crazy to think about! During the online MTC my Pdays are Saturdays so you can expect an update from me every Saturday for the next 6 weeks. The CTM has been amazing so far! :) If I'm being honest I was super nervous to start and I didn't really know what to expect from it, but I'm so glad I've been able to do my training at home. My schedule that I was sent was all in Brazil time and it said that most of my classes were to start at 8:30am. I don't know if any of you know this, but Brazil is 4 hours ahead of Utah, you can do that math, it was supposed to be early! Luckily it's been changed and now my classes don't start until 9:30am Utah time. They like to keep us busy that's for sure! I already have to memorize and learn cer...
